Where or Where have we Been??? Long Update

Nathan recievd his official Tech School certificate- which meant we were able to make our way East---far East! Hampton Virginia- we had hoped for Europe, but hey what can you do! So we have made it home!

Our little move...We loaded 1 large Budget truck- packed to the brim, Nathan and another Airman inside, who was also Virginia bound...2 kids, 1 dog + a mommy in the sweet Odyssey van!

We arrived in Virginia on a freezing, snowing day---this part of Virginia rarely sees snow- Wouldn't you know it - it welcomed us! We loved trying to close on our property with the town darn near closed and wouldn't you know it, one of the documents was missing- 24 hours later we got our keys, on Nathans Birthday--pretty sweet he got a house for his Birthday! So the usual process of unpacking finally began, it was nice to see so much of stuff that had remained in boxes for so long- not to mention having wall decoration up! Flash forward to the goods- Spring has been sooo much fun!

WE have enjoyed the adventure part of this move, seeing new places and just learning our way around!

The trees have bloomed and it looks like paradise around here!

Below---as you can see 2 little monkeys are in rare form... making any day at home a fun day!

Sophi loves the Camera her Papa got her for Christmas

Miss Everli enjoys eating on the go!

See what can entertain kids-plus they're Velcro!

  Looks like fun...

Wii, anyone! Everli just likes all the noise Sophi makes!

Little sisters make the best bosses!

This one was just plain cute!

We have enjoyed getting familiar with the town of Hampton, its old historic, a bit rough in some areas, but as a whole we really like it! There is a street that runs trough the main are we travel that has been stocked with every convenience! Target and Krispy Kreme what more does a girl need!---only kidding, well kinda...In the downtown area overlooking the water is a fun Carousel and a place we just enjoy walking around.

So pretty!

We have a tiny backyard, very little maintenance, plenty of fun!

One of the best part of Spring has been out 1st visitors---my Gram and Aunt Lisa came!

One very special, kicked in the face night was all Lisa was inflicted with :)

Wiped out on the 1st day..
We took a fun drive to Washington DC- only 3ish hour drive and a beatiful drive at that! We had a great time and lucked out with staying on an Airforce Base there, at a great price!...We concluded that we spent most of the 2 days waiting in line at Georgetown Cupcake and stuck in public transportation...we rode the Metro, the bus, took a Taxi and loved Georgetown!

We survived DC Cupcake...

The best part of DC was the temple, it was spiritual and as the Temple promises, makes the world disappear for a bit!

Although not exactly beach weather, it still is such a sight to behold and we love living near the ocean...

Some fun moments we shared...well fun to watch, ha!

Gram is looking good-we even celebrated her 79th Birthday!

It was sad to have our family go, but promises to return were guaranteed!
Life of silly faces, striking crazy poses and well me---doing everything I can to keep these busy bodies, well, BUSY---is back in the swing of it!

Sophi took this and did great, she stood on the stairs and was so pleased with herself!

This last weekend we went into Norfolk to enjoy a River celebration, it was dog friendly and full of fun activities to keep us aware of the beauty around us!

We also had to take a pit stop---get it....chuckle chuckle....poor Everli to small for everything, and Sophi well she barely qualified-but we still had fun!

Here are there beautiful Easter dresses-aren't they cute!

This little gem is located on base--its a private wetland that Nathan discovered when he was doing some volunteer clean up! Its beautiful, very private and felt like being somewhere far away!

We enjoyed the trip to Norfolk so much we came home with a little present- Henry a little schnoodle dog who is so needy and sweet- we all love him...even Carly! We especially enjoyed these 2 jumping off into the wetland and running like crazy..ahh muddy wet smelly mud feet!

The park is a staple in this family, and it seems we go at least 3 times a week...we enjoy the outside and with this crazy weather, you have to take advantage when its beautiful!

Well thanks for checking in on us and following our day to day adventures no matter how small---but to these amazing girls, everyday is a BIG adventure! Love to you all and prayers on health and happiness....till next time!
